First off, I'm very sorry for the quality of this scan. Suffice it to say that scanners are evil bastards when they want to be >_>
This is Bruce. He's from a movie called "Get Smart". I made it as a present for because I figured that since she likes Hiro (From "Heroes") so much, she would like Bruce from "Get Smart".
And I liked doing it because it forced me to try things from a different perspective and get used to drawing human anatomy, hah! I don't know if I did so well at that last part... -_-; Like his hair.. *hides*
But I liked doing it because it's nerdy and awesome. He wears a shirt that says "Science is Sexy" and DAMN STRAIGHT, it is (No, I don't think Bruce is sexy. Just science)
Ahh, Bruce... Contemplating the mysteries of the delocalised pi-system...
Bruce is (c) whoever made that movie... I don't even know!
--- PS: Isn't it weird that the width of this image turned out to be 576px?
You figured that did you? Well, you don't win any prizes for figuring that out, I'm as predictable as a clock.
lol, your disclaimers sound like mine: "This character belongs to...um...somebody? I dunno."
Anyway, I think the perspective on the anatomy came out really good. I pretty much NEVER try to pull off angles like that! Yay for trying stuff outside of the comfort zone. The hand came out well too.
I also like the blue.
Also, no WAY...576! That's what I call cosmic if anything was ever cosmic. (Also, either you scan your stuff really tiny or I scan my stuff really big... )

Ahhh, this is so cool! I really love this idea! It's so neat how you drew his hand bigger because it's closer to the picture plane. You drew his face really well, especially the mouth and the one closed eye. And his hair and his outfit...okay, everything. I find the addition of just one color very cool. Hahaha, 576, really? That's awesome!
man, you got this art stuff wired. Okay I have one suggestion - the nose and following features should be raised up on the head just a bit- so the bridge of the nose fits between the eyes.
Also you got carbon right but HYDROGEN IS CLEARLY NOT BLUE K that is NITROGEN's color tyvm *points to my model*
Got some unscannable artwork? Own a camera but no scanner? Here's a guide of things to consider in order to effectively take quality photographs of your work. [A tutorial by `fox-orian]
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
